Prayer Blue Komboskinia 50 Knots & Cross 

Each 50 knot prayer rope is special and unique due to its handmade quality. The prayer rope, known in Greek as a κομποσκίνι (komboskini), has long been a powerful weapon for the Orthodox Christian.

It is used in conjunction with the Prayer of the Heart. On each knot we say, “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” This prayer is occasionally shortened to, “Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me,” and other prayers are sometimes said, such as, “God be merciful to me a sinner.”
